Help Needy Children this Holiday Season! | Rimrock Kia

Join us for the 3rd Annual C4K Computer-Give-Away & Recycling Event!

Rimrock Kia Computers 4 Kids

When: Monday, December 23rd   11:00am – 6:00pm     Where: Rimrock KIA

We’re doing it again! Just in time for Christmas, Computers 4 Kids has partnered with Rimrock KIA for the 3rd Annual C4K Computer-Give-Away Event! This charitable event will be at 412 S 24th St West, in Billings.

Put it on your calendar now!

This year’s C4K give-away is even more exciting – thanks to a partnership with Rimrock KIA at the 412 S 24th St West location. Rimrock KIA is excited to co-sponsor the event and pay the costs of recycling old monitors and other equipment donated by the public during the event. Not only is Rimrock KIA proud to give new life to old equipment and provide technology to needy young Montanans, but because Computers 4 Kids is licensed with the State of Montana for electronic recycling, we can all help reduce the amount of chemicals and materials that would otherwise unproductively find their way into a landfill. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Do you have a kid who needs a computer?

Everyone and anyone is eligible to receive a refurbished computer! There’s even more good news! Rimrock Kia will cover all applicable licensing fees for 100 complete systems so there is NO cost to you!* Just make sure you pick up an invitation card at Rimrock KIA during the event to be eligible for your FREE computer!

Have a computer that you’re not using?

Don’t throw it away; donate it to a good cause! Everyone is encouraged to recycle their old computer so Computer 4 Kids can recondition the deductible donations with new hardware and appropriate software. We accept virtually any and every used computer for donation (broken or working, except for CRT monitors). It will be reconditioned and brought back to working order (or responsibly recycled if it can’t be reconditioned). It’s an excellent way to help needy kids in our community receive computers, monitors and peripherals easily and conveniently.

It is a win-win situation for everyone! The kids get a free computer and the folks who donate their old computer are assured that their tax-deductible donation is recycled in a responsible manner!

Further event details may be found by calling 406-651-5500 or http://www.computers4kidsinmontana.org. You can also stop by the Computers 4 Kids headquarters at 2110 1st Avenue North or Rimrock KIA at 412 S 24th St West, call 406-651-5500, or visit our website at RimrockKIA.com.

*Only people with an invitation card are eligible. Limited to 1 (one) Computer, per household during the event, Monday 12/23 11a-6p, while supplies last. Refurbished Computers will be, at a minimum, a functional machine running Windows ® 7 with an Intel ® Pentium IV Processor.

Winter Service Reminder | Rimrock Subaru Kia

Do you know if your car is ready for the challenges of a Montana Winter? Its probably a good idea to bring it in to our Service Center for a Fall Tuneup! Call (888) 447-1046 to schedule an appointment.

Service Special Deals Here

Here are some areas of focus:

Air-Conditioning/Heating System: If you like staying warm when the temps drop, pay attention to the A/C/Heating system! Inspect the compressor belt for cracking and wear. If when you turn the system on, it doesn’t clear the frost off your windows as fast as before, it’s probably time to have the system serviced.

Tires: Few things matter to vehicle drivability more than the good condition of tires. It’s time to put the Winter Tires on and take the Summer Tires off (we can do that for you, AND store your tires). Both pressure and condition are vital. Low pressure can cause a blowout and will ruin your gas mileage. High pressure can cause very uneven tire wear, and short tire life. Check the sticker on your drivers’ side door jam and verify the pressure is correct. Make sure you are getting your tires rotated. Not rotating tires every 6,000-7,500 miles or so may void warranties. Have questions about tires? Just give us a call!

Fluids: Fluid leaks are the enemy of your car! When the fluid levels drop, your vehicle will stop. The top fluids to check are the coolant, oil and transmission fluid level. If the radiator gaskets and seals aren’t sealing properly, this is an easy way for a leak to start. If anything is low, or if seals are cracked or deformed, it’s time for a service appointment.

Hoses and Belts: Hoses and Belts are often plastic or rubber, and these materials naturally deteriorate with age. Temperature extremes (which we have a lot of in Montana) also factor in to accelerated aging. Belts and Hoses are vital to the reliable operation of your car’s systems. They tie all of the electrical (headlights and brake lights, wipers, turn signals, etc.), and heating and cooling systems into your engine. If belts are loose or excessively cracked or worn, or if hoses are soft or fractured, it may be time for a replacement.

Battery: Batteries don’t like the cold. And Montana has plenty of cold winter weather, which strains the electrical system and can shorten the life of even the best batteries. If there’s corrosion or leakage, or if the battery is more than two years old, it’s probably time for a new one. A dead battery will leave you stranded!

Oil System: Oil is the blood of your engine. Changing oil too infrequently can let particulate, gunk and tiny metal shavings build up and damage internal components. If you’re using regular oil, every 3,000 or so miles might be a good time to get it changed. Synthetic oils are generally a little bit more expensive, but last longer. Consult your car’s owner manual for the recommended oil change schedule, and don’t forget. It’s also a good idea to change the filter each time you change the oil. Lastly, this is also a good time to change the cabin or engine air filter to get maximum performance from your engine. Can’t remember the last time your oil was changed? It’s probably past due! Bring it in to our Service Center where our Certified Technicians can help.

Engine Cooling System: AC keeps you from overheating, and Engine Coolant keeps your car’s engine from over-heating. Is your coolant low? It might be leaking. Is it a strange color? Dark? It probably is in need of a flush.  Dirty or low coolant can affect engine performance and engine life.

Have questions about any of this? Give us a call at 888-447-1046 or check our Service Website at http://www.rimrocksubaru.com/service/appointment.htm . Don’t forget to check our specials, here: http://www.rimrocksubaru.com/specials/service2.htm

2014 Kia Cadenza Premium – IN STOCK! | Rimrock Kia

Kia’s all-new Flagship Sedan Represents the Most Powerful and Technologically Advanced Kia offered in the U.S.

It is now in-stock at Rimrock Kia! (866) 979-1682

  • First-class appointments, advanced technology and European-inspired design announce Kia’s entry into the premium-car segment
  • Cadenza features class-leading interior room1 and is offered in one trim level with two available option packages

Since its debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the all-new Cadenza sedan has garnered praise for its premium feel and long list of amenities.  The Kia Cadenza is the most powerful and technologically-advanced vehicle Kia has ever introduced in North America. The Cadenza expands Kia’s long list of award-winning vehicles while moving the brand up-market with an impressive selection of premium standard and available equipment, including Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Lane-Departure Warning System (LDWS).  The Cadenza is offered in one trim level, known as Premium, with a starting MSRP of $35,100, plus $800 destination and handling.

“The Cadenza’s dynamic driving characteristics and advanced technology set our premium sedan apart from the competition,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of marketing & communications, KMA.  “Combining our most powerful engine with a well-engineered chassis, a direct and communicative steering system and a capable multi-link rear suspension, the Cadenza promises to appeal to shoppers who want both comfort and performance from a premium-level sedan.”

Sophisticated Features and Technology
Offered in one opulently equipped trim level, Premium, the Cadenza takes in-car technology and infotainment to an entirely new level.  Standard features include an advanced navigation system with SiriusXM Traffic™5 and UVO eServices, displayed on a high-resolution 8-inch touch screen.  Further enhancing driver assurance is a standard Rear-Camera Display6 and Back Up Warning System, and a premium 550-watt Infinity®7 12-speaker audio system including rear surround speakers and subwoofer provides an entertainment feast for the ears.  Cadenza’s standard equipment level exceeds many premium brands, as all vehicles come equipped with leather seat trim with heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear seat ventilation, Smart Key keyless entry with push-button start, 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat and Bluetooth® wireless technology8.  Two option packages are offered: Luxury and Technology.

European Design Evokes Premium Sport-Sedan Elegance
Penned under the watchful eye of Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors’ president and chief design officer, the Cadenza’s broad shoulders, contoured hood, large wheels and wide stance give it a strong, grounded appearance. The striking design has a distinctive sport-sedan form, as if the car would be equally comfortable on the Autobahn or carving through the Swiss Alps.

The signature grille and front fascia make Cadenza instantly recognizable as a Kia. Flanking the grille are quad headlights that nestle deeply behind crystalline lenses. The lower fascia is wide, lending to the Cadenza’s imposing stance, and chrome trim accents around the fog lights and grille add to the vehicle’s premium presence. LED positioning lights and projection beam headlights provide additional European sophistication.

Perhaps best enjoyed in profile, the Cadenza’s silhouette is at once strong and elegant. The vertical nose is imposing, the long hood sensuously sculpted to meet the swept-back windshield. The greenhouse curves gracefully to the C-pillar and is surrounded by a tasteful chrome bezel that flares upward at the rear door, effectively creating a beautiful glass droplet. Beginning just aft of the front-door cutline is a chiseled indentation that sweeps upward, seamlessly transitioning into the tail lights. Classic chrome accents adorn the lower portions of the doors and the treatment continues into the rear fascia. The 19-inch alloy wheels offered in the Technology Package resemble a jet turbine and add to the Cadenza’s athletic stature.

Moving to the rear, the standard LED taillights sit high on the deck and are designed to cut across a large portion of the vehicle, lending to the Cadenza’s broad stance. The twin oval tail pipes accentuate the Cadenza’s sporty and elegant design.

The interior of the Cadenza envelops its occupants in a premium environment complete with soft leather upholstery and tasteful accents of wood and chrome.  Ambient lighting and horizontally positioned switch gear communicate an uncluttered and sophisticated aesthetic.  An elegant analog clock positioned between the automatic climate controls lends a classic feel.  The center console is angled slightly toward the driver for optimized control, and an available large 7-inch high-resolution TFT LCD screen in the gauge cluster showcases a wide range of vehicle information including turn-by-turn navigation and infotainment.  Elegant chrome bezels surround the HVAC and audio controls, air vents and the standard push-button start.  Standard Bluetooth, wood-trim door inserts, one-touch automatic up/down power front windows and power-folding heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators all enhance the Cadenza’s premium image.

Engaging Driving Experience
The Cadenza is equipped with Kia’s most powerful V6 engine ever.  The smooth-revving 3.3-liter utilizes gasoline direct injection (GDI) technology that improves performance while producing fewer emissions.  Power is seamlessly transferred to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission that includes a Sportmatic® manual shift mode and paddle shifters flanking the leather and wood-wrapped steering wheel.  The GDI powerplant produces 293 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 255 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,200 rpm.  The advanced all-aluminum engine features dual continuously variable valve timing for improved fuel economy and performance, a maintenance-free timing chain, a three-step variable induction system for enhanced torque, and is designed to run on regular unleaded gasoline.  During Kia’s long-term durability testing, the engine is run 300 continuous hours at redline under full load then for an additional 20 hours at 10 percent above redline under full load.

Do you know if your car is ready for Summer? Its probably a good idea to bring it in to our Service Center for a Spring Tuneup! Call (888) 447-1046 to schedule an appointment.
