Rimrock KIA Sponsors Blood Drive Event

Every year, blood transfusions save more than 4 million lives, in fact, it’s estimated that blood is needed almost every two seconds.  Blood cannot be manufactured or harvested, and this means that in order for patients to get the blood that they need, services like United Blood Services depend on heros like you in order to fufill the need.

Your donation goes a long way, not only in treating accident victims, but also cancer patients, orthopedic surgeries, organ and marrow transplants, cardiovascular surgery and blood disorders.

On Friday, January 13th, Rimrock KIA is making it easy for you to become a hero.  Stop in at the showroom between 2:00pm and 7:00pm to donate.  In addition to helping those in need, if you buy a car from Rimrock KIA in the month of January, Rimrock KIA will make your first month’s payment for you as a thank you for your donation.

You can donate blood up to 3 times a year!

If you’re interested in donating, read the important information below:

  • Bring ID containing your name and one of the following: date of birth, blood center assigned donor number, or photo.  Examples of these are: blood center blood donor card, driver’s license, security badge (with picture and first and last name) or passport.
  • Drink plenty of water and eat well 24 hours before donating.
  • Limit your caffeine intake.
  • Bring a list of medications you are currently taking.

Stop by Rimrock KIA at 412 South 24th Street West in Billings, Montana on January 13th to become a hero by donating blood.  If you take the time to donate; purchase a vehicle from Rimrock KIA in the month of January and Rimrock KIA will make the first payment on it for you.
